Dr. Stephanie Heflin
Garden Grove Unified School District Principal, Hare Continuation High School
Dr. Stephanie Heflin has been in education for nineteen years within the Garden Grove Unified School District in southern California, and currently serves as principal at Hare Continuation High School. Prior to her current role, she served as a high school assistant principal for nine years where she began her journey with PBIS. Dr. Heflin has also served as a program specialist in the Instruction Office where she helped create an English Learner pathway to AVID, as well as taught AVID, Leadership, and English-Language Arts in her own classroom. Positive school culture has always been a top priority in all of her positions, and Dr. Heflin believes that every student deserves to be seen and supported as an individual and to be in the best possible learning environment. Hare High School strives to encompass the core values of both GGUSD and PBIS, ensuring that every student at Hare feels safe, supported, and recognized.
