Clovis Unified School District Board Certified Behavior Analyst, PBIS District Coordinator
Jade Edwards is a school psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and the PBIS district coordinator for Clovis Unified School District in California. She introduced the district to PBIS 7 years ago as the school psychologist for an elementary school willing to pilot the framework. Each year, new schools have asked to receive training and support on PBIS, resulting in the development of her role as “The PBIS Lady” for CUSD. At this time, she intimately supports the implementation of PBIS at 20 elementary sites and two continuation schools, representing 50% of the district’s education facilities. She is supported by her hardworking, creative, and positive team of 4 coaches that comprise her District PBIS Leadership Team. Together, Jade and her team work to develop creative solutions to the challenges of PBIS implementation, work to ensure all schools have an effective framework that is implemented with fidelity, and model the tenants of PBIS through their positive-based support system and district coaching model. Jade also enjoys teaching behavior analytic courses at Fresno Pacific University, where she is an alum.
