Mark Alfaro, M.A.Ed. is a PBIS Regional coach/trainer for Placer County Office of Education. Mark’s background includes 10 years as a credentialed teacher, having spent the majority of that time working with English Learners. Mark was the English Language Specialist at Rocklin Elementary for the past 7 years. He was on the school’s PBIS Tiers I, II and III teams. In his role as on the Tier II team, Mark was lead CICO facilitator. Mark was also a Wraparound Facilitator and was directly involved in successful interventions with Tier III students. In addition, he is a Certified Agency Trainer for BeGlad®, which provides professional development to states, districts and schools. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Education, specializing in Multi-Cultural Teaching.
